The above is for a movie that I have not seen, Women of Straw, look at those wonderful Kodalith images though!
Designed by Pablo Ferro, he is perhaps better known for The Thomas Crown Affair,
I also quite like the Midnight Cowboy titles:

didn't he do to die for as well? saul bass was still the king of titles. the couple that did titles for spike lee aren't bad either.
btw, i'm in town briefly this weekend for my mom's 70th bday. i don't think i'll really have time to hang out since i arrive tomorrow night & leave sunday morning. but it's possible i may have time later on saturday after dinner to grab a coffee or something.
Yes, I edited the sequence that Pablo designed for "To Die For" Laura Z. was a friend of ours and introduced us to Gus Van Sant.
Spike lee's title were done by someone else, who basically made his hand lettering look like Pablo's.

Hey, I stumbled across this article on my researches about history of motion graphics. It would be great to have some more text about the different title sequences instead of just showing them with no more information than the labeling. Something that makes it more interesting to read this article instead of looking those titles up on youtube.
However, the main reason for my comment is to inform you that the title sequence for Alfred Hitchcok's "Psycho" is by Saul Bass, not Pablo Ferro.
Cheers
Thank you for the comment, I have corrected above. And please check out pabloferro.net, which is pretty great
